SOYLAB
This project aims to design a shopfront located in Damansara Utama into a dessert shop, mainly by the theme as sync as the name, SOY.
The initial idea is to bring back some of the history of soy beans consuming experiences back to the shop. As we further develop, the overall theme is set to refer to Japanese interior architecture's elements, as the origin of soy started long ago in Japan. Japanese architecture emphasizes on lines, symmetry and balance. Thus, we drive in some of the timber/white material selection, along with lines as design twist within the space. Not to forget that greens play an important role to vibrant up the space as the only way to make a space lively is to incorporate some of the living elements.
In terms of spatial planning, we do not neglect the need of feature walls as nowadays people are more welcomed with photograph-worthy spaces and the need to social media advertising.
