As the selected scheme, our group are invited to present our scheme during the World Class Sustainable City Conference 19'. We, are the youngest speakers who presented an environmental concerned place-making scheme to the audiences.

YP Lab was held with 10 groups of participants (aprx. 10-12 members), and each group consist of diverse professions ranging from Landscape Architects, Developers, Architects, and even students from urban planning or architecture. The 10 groups were split to 2 sites (5 groups each), and within the workshop schedule, we have to make a quick site visit, come out with a proposal (mostly place-making) that revitalise the site given. One selected group from each site will get the privilege to present their scheme at the 11th World Class Sustainable City International Conference 2019.

Taylor's university was invited to join the workshop of MALAYSIA 100 YEARS CITY along with many other schools locally. We presented one of our community project where we highlight the importance of community work to the needy ones by utilising our design ability to refurbish their living environment. Low cost flats often accommodated by middle to poor range of financial families. However, the environment wasn't often maintained. Some badly maintained environment may cause hazard situations to living family.
Taylor's has initiated the module of Community Service to give the opportunity for students to get our hands on to real life design work (small scale). From designing layout, choosing furnitures, custom building some of the items needed, and cleansing maintenance.
Each school has presented their ideas of the future of Malaysia. All that comes to a fruitful session where we have an active discourse on issues and solutions.

Different professions including developers and contractors have come together in this workshop to understand the importance of place-makings and also a sharing of techniques used in Denmark to strategise locations into an inviting node for the public by Hans. Later on, the floors were split up into different groups to make an analysis of the microsite given - Pasar Seni MRT (radius 100m) along with an on-site design-making activity, where we propose our ideas of place making & share knowledges among one another.
Given an opportunity of cross-sharing knowledges, each person has different perceptions of the image of a successful node in Malaysia in the future. Every aspect is considered, from human scale experiences to phycology affect, and etc. All the little contribution of ideas come together as a whole of what we have learned through the sharing sessions.
